I like good natured ribbin and fun.... and don't wanna get into something that's gonna get me hurt. Already I have seen a few "relationships" (not involving any in this thread....yet) that seem to be pretty sour..... I get plenty of that at work...... I need a "happy hockey family"....

And indeed - - - So far Hurricane has been really nice to me..... I deserve any and all pokes regarding my total lack of dancing ability..... but the Satan/Angel remark has me running..... because I don't wanna be set up for a fall......

Well I am a bad Dancer - - real bad -- but I did what I could when in the Chicken Coop for the Chicken Dance with the Superfans & CheckMates..... I met Hurricane after the game for the first time and she was goofin on my pathetic dancing - I nudged her with a :rofl:..... and one thing led to another and Woed is gettin all fired up - which is fine - - -but all I'm sayin is that in wandering the "Bob" it seems some folks get along much better than others..... So be careful in that you reap what you sow... Me - - I wanna get along with everyone that doesn't downright piss me off......

Bluto, when I made my comment to you before, I think you misunderstood what I was saying. When Cane said she would do her best to "get you to see the error of your ways", she hit the nail on the head. Meaning, she is very opinionated (like several of us on here) and she does enjoy the good natured ribbing and fun. However, if one didn't know that she and I are friends, they wouldn't be able to tell by reading our comments to each other on the board. We go back and forth but it's all in fun because we know each other.

My comment to you was that if you are going to zing her, you've got to get some better material. That's all.

I don't think anyone on here wants to get physical with mrwoed. Everyone's talking about verbal sparring. I haven't seen or heard any threats toward mrwoed. But, just for clarification to everyone, physical threats of ANY kind made on this board (i.e. thinly veiled or flat out invitations to inflict physical harm) will NOT be tolerated and will result in the member being banned.

I'm not aware of any direct physical threats - - here or otherwise - - but in wanderin the Bob and having met a lot of folks - all I'm saying is that there are some that occasionally express true dislike for others....so maybe the :boxing: was the way I expressed that.

While I would like everyone here to get along like family - I understand that some "siblings" scruff for fun - - and I hope that's all there is to it.... I have some very good friends that the "chat room banter" would suggest otherwise.

As for Hurricane - I am happy to see that youze guys are actual friends. Like I said - she has been pleasant to me - and I took the pathetic Dancing comments as just good fun - - and thought it fair to :rofl: zing her.... when I have no idea what's going on..... just seemed like a good idea at the time - and I don't know - she could be married to Dusty....or his Mom for all I know...... Maybe we need to have a party....... the written words may have crossed the imaginary line - if I did that - I appologize

seems as if i stepped into more than i thought I will now quietly back out.....for what its worth i think or thought everyone here on the board got along with each other pretty good...after all we are all checker fans...i just hate to see discord anywhere...in fact was hoping to get to meet some of you fine folks when i get to my first game at the bob...expecially you chex...gotta know who it is im having the contructive conversations about the checkers isPlease don't do that..... everyone I have met has been A+ quality folks..... Like I said - we sometimes seem to have written discord among folks on the board and it's the written stuff that's misunderstood. Work is like that - (I'm totally remote) however there when the volley goes back & forth and you think it's getting a little misunderstood - we pick up the phone and call. I have met Chex, Hurricane, MamaSuzy, Possum, Ammo, all the Superfans, Sarge99, SD12, some of the "Diva's".... and a few others...... we all have a good time.... and in the cases where folks don't see eye to eye it's either just good natured fun - or they stay away from each other...... This is a great place - - as I said I appologize if I caused any misunderstandings.... We have a lot of fun at games - in the boards - and in the chat room when the road games are going on. It's been a great experience - - please engage - and bring friends

I was referring to the past. There have been occasions when some members have been threatened both on this board, other boards and in person. The only reason I mentioned it was in passing, but to make it clear--that kind of behavior will not be tolerated on this board.

I was dissappointed to hear Tim have to make mention during the broadcast at Augusta that fans were throwing stuff at him (confetti? trash?) and they were making unnecessary noise to make it difficult for him to to the broadcast.... That's just bush league..... no wonder they were doing "Red Neck Olympics" during the period breaks.

I actually let that go. He stated he couldn't dance right now, so I didn't wanna get anything started. But it did cross my mind to advise him to try a Dixie cup from his bathroom as a replacement...I'm sure that would fit perfectly.
