BAHENSKY RETURNS FROM HARTFORD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced today that Zdenek Bahensky was returned on loan from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

A 21-year-old rookie, Bahensky has played in 13 AHL games with the Wolf Pack this season and has registered one assist and four penalty minutes. In 48 ECHL games with the Checkers, the 2004 third-round New York Ranger draftee (73rd overall) has scored eight goals and added 13 assists for 21 points, and has served 96 minutes in penalties.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced that the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League has reassigned rookie left wing Zdenek Bahensky to the Checkers.

The Checkers are the ECHL affiliate of the Wolf Pack of the AHL and the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the third round (73rd overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and under AHL contract to Hartford, the 21-year-old Bahensky has 21 points (8g-13a) and 96 penalty minutes in 48 games with Charlotte and one assist and four penalty minutes in 13 games with Hartford.
