2006-07 GAME-WORN JERSEYS UP FOR AUCTION
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced today that the 2006-07 game-worn jerseys are now up for auction on the team’s Web site – click here to view jerseys up for auction (http://www.prosportsauctions.com/checkers/index.php?pid=17&catid=12).
The game-worn jerseys include both white and navy sets and the starting bids range from $150 - $250. Each jersey comes with a certificate of authentication from the Charlotte Checkers signed by team president Jeff Longo.
Fans interested in bidding can create a free account by visiting www.prosportsauctions.com/checkers.
The Checkers enter their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL in October 2007. In the team’s 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three-consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers will enter their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena this fall. For season ticket information, please call 704-342-4-ICE.
