The revised schedule has been posted in the Checkers Chat forum. The old schedule is still there for those of you who want to compare what it was to what it is now. I haven't done the statistical breakdown of who we're playing, how many times and on what days, but at first glance, it looks like we picked up a lot of games against Pensacola. That should increase the attendance from our old Greenie friends. :thumb:

I have also updated the calendar, so if you want to see the schedule a month at a time, click on the calendar link in the navigation bar up top. There were quite a few changes.

I already had the opponent breakdown in my press report on checkersfan.com:

BREAKDOWN OF OPPONENTS:
Augusta: 10 Games (5 Home; 5 Away)
Columbia: 10 Games (5 Home; 5 Away)
Florida: 7 Games (4 Home; 3 Away)
Greenville: 10 Games (5 Home; 5 Away)
Gwinnett: 9 Games (5 Home; 4 Away)
Johnstown: 1 Game (1 Away)
Pensacola: 8 Games (4 Home; 4 Away)
South Carolina: 11 Games (5 Home; 6 Away)
Toledo: 2 Games (2 Home)
Trenton: 1 Game (1 Away)
Wheeling: 3 Games (1 Home; 2 Away)

Check out my Schedule Page (http://www.checkersfan.com/schedule.html), IC, if that'll make the day-by-day breakdown easier.

It looks like they took away our Toledo/Dayton trip, and one of our home games against Wheeling. They gave us an extra home game against Gwinnett, but they also gave us an extra road game to South Carolina.

Preesh! Also thanks to Silver Fox for sending me the schedule.

One good change is only 5 road games to open the season rather than the 6 we had. Lost the game on Nov. 4th. And after further review, one huge bad thing for myself, added 2 more Sunday games.

I am not a big fan of these Sunday games during football season....even if the Panthers are on the road...its still nice to watch them on TV.......I think the casual fans will sit at home and watch the Panthers instead of showing up downtown.....just my $.02

Well, that'll be their loss then. But honestly, with the sports bar in the arena, and all the flat panel TVs up everywhere in the arena, they should have plenty of opps to watch BOTH from the arena.

Another thing is, we lost our big long road trip and the longest road series is now the 5 at the beginning. :thumb:

We finish the season with a couple of nice homestands too.
