Can we hide the smilies when we're posting? I'm not one to use all the obscure ones and I'm getting kind of tired of looking at that freaking banana riding the llama. Plus it just elongates the page you type your post on.

I have good news for you. If you use the Enhanced editor (Full WYSIWYG), you will not have the smilie box on the side of the editor. Instead, you will have a drop down menu of smilies to choose from, should you want to use them.

This control can be changed in your userCP, in the "Options" section. There is a drop down menu to choose this option at the very bottom of the screen in the Miscellaneous Options box.

Or you can just use this handy dandy "quick reply" section and not worry about smilies at all. :)

I was on Enhanced, but had to re-save changes. Now those damned faces are gone.

Llama, camel, taun taun...whatever...as long as I don't have to see it anymore.
